Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a safe and effective way to add volume to the skin. They can work to soften the look of lines and wrinkles, or to enhance the definition of certain facial features.

This is an injectable treatment that takes around 30 minutes to perform, per area, and produces very little downtime. Dermal fillers will dissolve over a period of around 8-12 months, with repeated procedures maintaining your desired result.

The experts advice

The Toni clinic will devise your very own treatment plan, according to your concerns. A topical numbing and a local anaesthetic injection are used to help minimise any sensitivity, dermal fillers are then administered using a small needle; injecting the smooth gel in a suitable place, and at the right depth beneath the skin. Results can often be seen instantly.

Common Questions

I.Am I a suitable candidate?

Dermal fillers can create a refreshing look to a tired appearance, or help to improve facial definition and contouring. At the Toni Clinic, dermal fillers are a popular treatment for enhancing the lips, cheeks and to reduce the appearance of nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds).

II.What areas can be treated?

Dermal fillers are a versatile treatment that can be used on the face, neck, decolletage and hands. They can replace the volume that is lost in the skin due to diminishing collagen and elastin, or to enhance the size and shape of a naturally smaller structure.

III.What, if any, are the side effects?

Following the procedure, the treated area may become red and swollen. Bruises may appear at the point of injection, with these effects often disappearing within a few days. Other complications such as infection, irregular contouring and blood clots, will be discussed at consultation.

IV.How much do dermal fillers cost?
